Prawn Ghee Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 Sprig Curry leaves
  • 3 tbsp Oil for frying

For Marination

  • 700 gms Prawns
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Kasturi Methi Crushed
  • 3 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions

How to prepare Prawn Ghee roast

  • Marinate Prawns with all the powdered masala and Salt.
  • Add Ginger garlic Paste.
  • Combine all the ingredients.
  • Now add lime juice and mix again.
  • Add crushed Kasturi methi and combine again.
  • Add ghee and combine to get an excellent flavor in your dish.
  • Keep it aside for 30 mins or more.
  • Add Oil in the Non-Stick Pan.
  • Add curry leaves and fry to 1 min on low flame.
  • Add the marinated Prawns in the pan and leave for it to fry for 2 mins. After 2 mins turn the Prawns and let it fry on the other side also for same time.
  • Keep stirring and cook on high flame.
  • Prawn will start absorbing Masala and leave only oil.
  • Keep stirring until the Oil absorbs and prawn starts roasting.
  • When the Prawn starts roasting and changing it colour turn off the fire.
  • Prawn Roast is now ready to serve.

Notes

Tip: Prawn Ghee Roast is cooked with Oil in this recipe, but was marinated with Ghee. You can also use Ghee to fry the marinated Prawns.
