French Toast

French Toast is a dish with bread soaked in egg mixture, which is made of eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla extract.

Ingredients

  • 6-7 slices Bread
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 4 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Oil For frying

Instructions

  • Take a container, break two eggs in it and beat well
  • Add Sugar and mix well, the sugar should be completely dissolved. We have added 4 tbsp sugar, you can start with 2 tbsp and based on your liking increase the sugar quantity
  • Add Milk and beat well
  • Add Vanilla Extract and stir well. Vanilla Extract gives better flavor than the essence
  • Heat a pan and add oil for frying the bread
  • Now, take a bread slice and dip the bread on both sides in the egg mixture
  • On medium - high flame, fry the bread on the pan on both sides, as shown in the video
  • For the next bread slice, repeat the same process, and if the oil on the pan is not sufficient, add more
  • Fry the bread slices well on both sides. Now your French Toast is ready to serve, serve hot.

Notes

You can reduce the sugar and garnish with Maple syrup if you wish
